Firstly the PS3 red light of death is a problem mostly caused by your PS3 overheating so if you have experienced some problems such as your PS3 freezing or just generally acting different from what you would usually find, you might be at the early stages of a PS3 problem. This could be caused by the way you have your PlayStation positions, for example the fan vent could be against the floor or the wall so this will prevent the fan from working properly which over time will cause problems with your PlayStation. Just making sure that the vent is positioned right could stop some errors that are occurring when your playing games.
